Rules & guidelines for Karazhan raid
#1
II am sure most of you have seen my mails on the basic rules and guidelines for all raiders to follow on our kara raid.

How we invite:-

1) All Kara raids will be decided based on the convenient time where most or key players are able to be online.

2) Invitation to raid will be sent out by post and rsvp is appreciated. If no rsvp is sent consistently, GM may not send invites for the next run.

3) Confirmation mail will be sent out to all raiders who have rsvp. This email does not necessary guarantee a raid spot.

4) Any members who do not receive any invites but are keen to join raiding have to let the GM know, so that GM can decide whether to invite or not.Being online and available doesn't mean that you got an invite, by the way. Whether you were in the raid, or hanging around on the waitlist doesn't matter. As long as you told the raid leader you were interested in going, and made yourself available during the raid, it counts whether the raid used you or not.

The following guidelines are summarise here for your compliance:-

1) It is important to be punctual for raids, so that you will not be miss out over another member who turn up earlier than you.

2) Loot system will be based on DKP system. For more details, see our looting system in annoucement section of this forum.

3) Raiders are required to have Ventrilo installed. A microphone is not required, however it is helpful and recommended. Please take the time to purchase a microphone with decent sound. Players with excessive background noise may be asked to turn their microphone off. Remember, it's your fellow guild members ears that bad microphones hurt most. If for some reason you are unable to connect to Ventrilo due to a temporary situation, an exception may be arranged. Please see any Officer if that is the case.

4) Required mods - Deadly boss mod, KLH Threat meter and CT raid are recommended. KLH threat meter and CT raid is a must.

5) All raiders have to do the following before each raid:-

a) read up on boss info,
b) upgrade your gear,
c) Done yr repair
d) Prepare consumable like potions. For likely potions/mana oil etc to bring, please refer to kiokio's posting at Karazhan section.

6) Do not do instance or pvp /battlegrounds before raid time

7) Be prepared to spent at least 2 hours for each raid. If you are not able to commit, please let the raid leader know. A raid spot may not be guarantee if you cannot commit on this.

8) Do not leave the raid due to non-valid reason (e.g. unhappy with another member etc).

9) Behave your best especially when playing with pug players in raid.

10) We do not "hold" raid spots. Do not ask for us to hold one for you. If you cannot be online at the start, you can be on the waiting list. There is one exception to this rule. If you know ahead of time that you cannot make the start of invites, but will be on by the start of the raid, tell your raid leader and they may at their discretion hold a spot for you. You will be expected to be at the instance on login, which means that you will need to have prepared your character and gotten them to the instance prior to your previous logoff. If you are not prepared, or are not at the instance when you log on, your spot if held will immediately be given to the next player on the wait list.

11) For active core raiders in our raid group & reserve list, Karazhan Raiding outside of the Guild is not allowed as you will be locked in that instance and will not be able to join us. However, if you wish to raid outside our guild due to special reason, please seek permission from GM.

Failure to do so will result in your not being received invitation for further raids. Strict compliances will be welcomed from all raiders.
