Kara Raid Schedule and Notes
#1
Next raid is scheduled for server time 930pm (SG time 730pm) on 11 Oct 07.

Notes on some raid discipline:
1. Please bring your own consumables (oil/elixir/potions/buff foods/flask if you feel rich)
2. Do not display damagemeters results in raid/guild chat. This results in unhealthy competition and does not help progression.
3. Over-aggroing on bosses: offenders will donate a stack (5) of super mana pots, which will be distributed to healers on next run
4. Let raid leader decide on boss strat, unless he has made some serious error/ assumptions (in which case it should be pointed out). Everyone needs to be marching to the same tune. If you have certain assignments, such as OT or CC, that takes priority over any other role you have.
5. No AFKs without good reason, especially when we're on the trash respawn timer. If you really need to go AFK, ensure someone has acknowledged or is aware of it.

Having said that, do relax and let's not forget we're doing this for the fun of it. So lets get another glove drop from curator this week.

Tonight there is a scheduled raid at 9.30pm server time.

Do attend.

One thing to note on moroes battle yesterday:-

1) DPS fast on the adds as the garotte on everyone will make it impossible to heal as the battle gets longer. So still suggest to cc one add (left 1 add to the last) while fighting moroes so that garotte dmg is reduced to the minimum.

It seems that everyone has forgotten how to kill moroes & dps yest is not fast enough.

2) 2nd item to note - do not break shackle as it is the very precious cc we have on one add. Note that any damage on the add will break shackle, do not aoe on the shackled target.

3) 3rd item to note -  Somehow the healers get a lot of aggro as compared to past battles. Do watch yr aggro and tankers to gain as much aggro as possible.

Okie lets hope for better performance tonight, do buck up and pay attention!

Killing all the adds is a double-edged sword. While it gives more peace of mind when all the adds are down, it is likely that at least 2 more raiders will be garrotted in the meantime. This in turn gives our healers a huge problem.

Best way IMO is still to down 2 adds and focus on boss (unless cc-duty raider is down).
